Full Membership

Full Membership (successfully completed a DAA accredited course - please include certified copy of degree certificate or official academic transcript with application) see 'Document certification'

Student Membership (currently enrolled in a DAA accredited course - please include certified proof of enrolment with application) see below 'Document certification'

Join online at Online applications  or download the Membership Application Form, complete and forward to DAA with required documentation and payment (see Payment Forms).

A cancellation fee will apply if application is withdrawn or remains incomplete after 4 weeks.


Associate Membership


Associate - Full (a person without dietetic qualifications but has completed a non-accredited nutrition course which meets the eligibility requirements of DAA) please include certified copies of official transcript (full academic transcript for subjects completed or study being undertaken) with application. (Categories: Full and unemployed)
- Associate - Student (a person without dietetic qualifications who is studying a non-accredited nutrition course which meets the eligibility requirements of DAA) please include certified copies of official transcript (full academic transcript for subjects completed or study being undertaken) with application.

Associate Membership Application Form   -  fees are only payable on notification of acceptance of application.


Affiliate Membership (previously Associate Overseas)

Affiliate (current Full Members of an overseas national dietetic association and living overseas)

Document Certification

Students applicants : You are requested to send a certified document proving that you are currently enrolled. Evidence of enrolment need to be an official document with the name of the University, your name, the complete title of the course , the course code and the date of enrolment with some mention like 'currently enrolled' or 'Confirmation of enrolment' or 'Course status : enrolled'. 

Full Members applicants : You are requested to send  a certified document proving your qualifications. You need to send a certified copy of your official academic transcript or your degree certificate.  Evidence of qualifications need to be an official document with the name of the University, your name, the complete title of the course, the course code and the date of completion with some mention like 'successfully completed the requirements' or 'Course status : completed' or 'eligible to graduate'.

DAA requires evidence of course enrolment or qualifications to be certified by an authorised person. To find out who is authorised to sign a document download the Certification document.
