Corporate partnerships

DAA is pleased to have corporate partnerships that support our Mission - 'supporting members and advocating for better food, better health and better living for all'. By establishing partnerships, DAA can increase its capacity to:

  • Provide accurate and practical nutrition information to the Australian public and support public nutrition education programs
  • Promote awareness of DAA and Accredited Practising Dietitians as university-qualified nutrition and dietetic professionals
  • Support DAA member services, particularly continuing professional development

There are several levels of corporate partnerships supporting a range of DAA activities including the DAA National Conference, educational events and DAA awards.

DAA's partnerships are managed in accordance with the Association's Corporate Partnership and Sponsorship Policy. Other related policies of interest are the Policy for Acceptance and Dissemination of Advertising (including Trade Exhibitions) and DAA's Endorsement Policy.   • The purpose of DAA partnerships is to further the Mission and Vision of DAA
  • DAA works with corporate partners on mutually agreed projects that support member services or public activities that are consistent with DAA objectives, nutrition principles that DAA supports and current scientific knowledge
  • DAA is open and transparent about its sponsorships and corporate partnerships
  • DAA values its independence and will not be influenced in any statements, positions or opinions by its commercial agreements
  • DAA takes great care to avoid conflict of interest
