Membership of DAA - the Benefits

Better food, better health, better living for all.

DAA is the leading nutrition organisation in Australia. It is a not-for-profit, professional member association representing more than 4,100 members. DAA is devoted to supporting its members, and advocating for better nutrition and health for all Australians. The Association is well-organised, structured and progressive.

     Access to:

  • Professional information (such as through DAA's Newsletter and DAA's scientific journal Nutrition & Dietetics), publications and resources (such as DAA's marketing and business resources and the ProQuest journal database)
  • Subsidised continuing professional development (CPD) opportunities, such as conferences, workshops, seminars (held nationally and locally)
  • An interactive website, which includes access to patient education resources, DAA position statements, job opportunities, CPD and much more.

  • Participate in the APD Program - the nationally recognised credential for dietitians
  • Participate in committees and working parties to lobby for better nutrition and health for Australians
  • Provide input into nutrition-related initiatives through submissions and meetings
